The Three Little Chevys…
With plunging ”Sports Utility Vehicle” and large saloon sales and certain oil economies, GM is now aspiring to boost its presence in the ultra small auto market. The car producer revealed a trio of hottest Chevrolet minicab concept vehicles planned to catch the attention of young town car enthusiast around the world. Challenging each young mind to be creative in adding some more auto parts for more innovative look.
The “triplets” include:
• Chevrolet Beat : The Vertigo Green Chevrolet Beat three-door hatchback concept is meant to remind a micro version of the import tuner cars popularized by movies like the Fast and the Furious. The Beat is considerably the sportiest of the trio. The Beat is a front-wheel-drive, built to be modified, and motorized by a 1.2-liter turbocharged gas engine mated to an automatic transmission. It’s loaded with capability, as well as a navigation system and first class stereo system. Theoretically expressed as a “tuner” car, the Beat is predestined to be bespoke much similar to a Scion to an owner’s own special tastes.
• Chevrolet Groove: A “funkastalgia”- themed vehicle too tough-looking to be “cute,” the Groove idea is a retro-inspired wheels with bold fender flames and an upright windshield. It looks much longer than it is, thanks to its short hood and long cabin. The front-drive Groove is powered by a small, efficient 1-liter diesel engine. The Groove’s design expresses anything but weakness. The outstanding matte Lunar Quartz exterior finish conflicts with the strategic use of satin silver exterior chrome fine points. Consider this the most realistic designed of the three.
• Chevrolet Trax: The Inferno Orange Chevrolet Trax, an urban crossover concept that’s likewise at home on the tracks or in traffic, it gets a low-cost all-wheel-drive system and looks the part of a rugged SUV many times its dimension, thanks to a spacious one-piece bumper and fender system in the front and back, a rear-mounted spare tire and a roof rack. Trax is powered by a 1-liter gas engine.
